Gallery-first, every page
Every page is structured so project photography lands immediately, with no clutter competing for attention. We use grid layouts, full-width sliders, and lightbox galleries that put your work front and center.
Interior Designers - Web Design
Your website needs to do two things simultaneously: make your work look as good as it does in person, and give a prospective client enough clarity to book a call. Most interior design websites do one or the other. We build sites that do both.
Overview
Seven things every interior design site needs. We build all of them in from day one.
Every page is structured so project photography lands immediately, with no clutter competing for attention. We use grid layouts, full-width sliders, and lightbox galleries that put your work front and center.
Interior design sites carry a heavy image load. We implement WebP format conversion, responsive image sizing, lazy loading, and gallery plugins optimized for performance so your photos look sharp and load quickly.
Buyers aren't just evaluating your aesthetic. They want to know what it's like to work with you. A dedicated design process page, with clear phases from discovery through installation, answers the questions prospects are already asking.
Clients arrive with wide-ranging budget expectations. Your site should communicate starting investment ranges and service tiers (full-service, e-design, hourly) without publishing fixed prices that create sticker shock before a conversation happens.
Before-and-after sliders are among the highest-converting elements on any interior design website. We build them natively into project portfolio pages to demonstrate the transformation your work delivers.
If your work has been featured in Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Elle Decor, or Houzz, that needs to be visible. We build trust bar sections and press archive pages that make publication features a prominent part of your credibility story.
We embed your scheduling tool, whether that's Calendly, Acuity, or a booking system native to your practice management platform, directly into the site so a visitor can go from browsing your portfolio to booking a call without leaving the page.
Process
Five stages from kickoff to launch. Every one built around how interior design buyers actually behave online.
We start by understanding your firm: your design style, your ideal client, your service model (full-service, e-design, or both), your current pain points, and your goals for the new site. This phase produces a clear site map and content strategy before any design begins.
Interior design websites need to reflect the visual standards of the work they feature. We design WordPress sites that align with your brand, your typography, your color palette, and the tone of your portfolio. You review and approve the design direction before development begins.
We build in WordPress, configuring your gallery plugins (Envira or Modula), embedding your practice management tools, setting up consultation booking, and building out every page of the site so your systems actually talk to each other.
We optimize every project image for web performance without visible quality loss, organize your portfolio by project type, room, or design style, and structure each project page with the descriptive content that helps both clients and search engines understand what you do.
Every site goes through our 75+ step quality audit before launch. We check performance, mobile responsiveness, accessibility, all integrations, form submissions, and gallery functionality across devices. Nothing ships without the full QA pass.
The practice management tools we plug into. Every interior design site we build gets integrated with the platforms your firm actually runs on, not a generic stack.
Project management
Studio Designer, Ivy by Houzz. Client portals, vendor management, and invoicing that can surface as consultation or client login touchpoints on your site.
E-design delivery
Mydoma Studio, DesignFiles. Mood boards, floor plans, 3D renders, and shoppable product lists that extend the portfolio experience on your site.
Client workflows
HoneyBook, Dubsado, 17hats. Inquiry forms, proposals, contracts, and automated onboarding, embedded cleanly into contact and booking flows.
Lead generation
Houzz Pro. Houzz profile badge and lead integration for firms actively using the Houzz platform alongside their own site.
Galleries
Envira Gallery, Modula. Our standard choices for interior design galleries, with grid, masonry, and lightbox layouts that stay fast as your portfolio grows.
Scheduling
Calendly, Acuity Scheduling. Consultation booking embedded directly into service and contact pages so visitors can book without leaving the site.

Every project's scoped after a free consultation. These are real ranges from the interior design sites we've built, not minimums designed to get you in the door.

Scoped individually
Most interior design firm websites land in the $5K-$15K range. Where a project lands depends on portfolio complexity, integrations required, and how much custom functionality the site needs. Complex builds, multi-brand firms, or sites requiring deep integration sit at the higher end.
Send us your project and we'll scope it straight -- no pushy sales.

Good to know
Most interior design firm websites run between $5,000 and $15,000 depending on the number of pages, portfolio complexity, integrations required, and how much custom functionality the site needs. E-design sites that include WooCommerce for package sales or deep practice management integration can run higher. We scope every project individually, so you'll get a specific number after a conversation, not a generic estimate.
Most projects from kickoff to launch run 6-10 weeks. Larger sites with more content, more integrations, or more portfolio pages to optimize can take 12-16 weeks. The biggest variable is content: how quickly you can provide finalized project photography, copy, and portfolio descriptions significantly affects the timeline.
We build exclusively on WordPress. For interior designers, it's the right choice: it has the best gallery plugins for portfolio-heavy sites, the most flexibility for integrating with practice management tools, and the strongest foundation for SEO. Platforms like Squarespace or Wix look appealing at first, but they create long-term limitations on functionality, SEO performance, and integration depth that hurt your business over time.
We do both. Redesigns are often faster than new builds if the existing site has content we can work with. We audit your current site first to understand what's working, what's broken, and what needs to be rebuilt from scratch versus updated. Portfolio migration and image re-optimization are part of every redesign project.
ADA compliance is part of our standard QA process. We check color contrast ratios, keyboard navigation, alt text on all portfolio images, form label structure, and heading hierarchy. Interior design sites are image-heavy, which makes alt text especially important, both for accessibility and for SEO. We don't ship sites without an ADA review pass.
