We respond immediately. For clients on our maintenance plans, we restore from a clean backup, identify and close the vulnerability that was exploited, and get the site back online as quickly as possible. We also coordinate any necessary outreach to search engines if your site was flagged as dangerous during the compromise. For sites not under a maintenance plan, we handle emergency cleanups on an incident basis, though the recovery process takes longer without recent backups to work from.
Yes. We do a site audit first to understand the current state of the WordPress installation, plugins, theme, and any integrations. If there are deferred updates, security issues, or configuration problems that need addressing before we put it under a maintenance plan, we handle that during onboarding. We are straightforward about what we find.
Backup frequency depends on the plan, but at minimum we maintain daily backups stored offsite. For sites that update content frequently or run active lead generation campaigns, more frequent backup intervals are available. We store multiple restore points so you are not limited to a single recent backup if an issue goes undetected for several days.
Content edits aren't bundled into the base plan. Small changes like copy updates, seasonal banner swaps, or a new photo on the homepage are scoped a la carte at our hourly rate. Larger work like new service pages, a new service area section, or a seasonal campaign landing page gets its own scope so you know what you're paying for.
Monitoring runs consistently year-round, not seasonally. The monitoring does not change, but we do flag landscaping clients in the spring as being in their critical revenue window so that response prioritization reflects the business impact of any issues.
