Content & Copywriting
Copy that ranks and still sounds like a person wrote it
Most SEO copy fails one of two ways: it’s stuffed with keywords and reads terrible, or it reads fine and never shows up in search. AI-generated drafts are making that worse, not better. We write pages that do both, priced at $150-250 per page and quoted per project, not a monthly retainer.
A page that ranks but doesn’t convert is a wasted opportunity. A page that reads well but never surfaces in search is invisible. We write for both at once, which takes more work than either extreme, but it’s the only version that actually pays off.

Why it's hard
Why good SEO copy is harder than it looks
Most copy on the web fails one of two tests. It’s either stuffed with keywords and reads terrible, or it reads fine and was never built around what people actually search for, so it doesn’t rank. AI-generated drafts tend to fail both at once: generic, no real point of view, and increasingly easy for Google to spot as machine-written.
- Ranking and reading well aren’t opposites. They only feel that way when the writer skipped one side of the work.
- AI drafts read like nobody in particular wrote them. No perspective, no specifics about your business, and Google’s systems are getting better at recognizing that pattern.
- Good copy needs someone who understands your business, your audience, and what they’re actually searching for. That’s research, not a prompt.
- Content that ranks and reads well converts better than either extreme. Traffic that lands on a page and bounces isn’t worth much.
- Google’s own guidelines lean harder every year toward experience, expertise, authoritativeness, and trust. That’s not something AI can fake its way into.
Services
What we write
- Service pages. The pages that explain what you do and why someone should pick you, written to answer the questions people actually have.
- Industry and vertical pages. Content built for a specific type of client, not a one-size-fits-all page trying to speak to everyone.
- Blog posts. Built around real search intent, not just topics that were easy to write about.
- Location and service-area pages. Written to actually differentiate between areas, not the same paragraph with the city name swapped out.
- Guides and long-form pillar content. The deep, well-researched pages that take real work to write and real work to rank.
- FAQs and resource pages. Content that answers the specific questions your prospects are typing into Google.
- Homepage and about copy. The pages that get the most traffic and usually the least attention.
Basically, anything that lives on your site and needs to rank or convert.
Process
How we work
We’re humans writing this. We use AI for research and drafting help sometimes, but a real writer edits everything that goes out under your name. If a sentence sounds generic, we rewrite it. If a claim sounds made up, we check it.
Our process starts with keyword and intent research, so we know what a page needs to say before anyone writes a word of it. Then we build an outline and review it with you, write the draft, take your revisions, publish, and track how it ranks. We don’t publish generic filler content, and we won’t take a project if the topic doesn’t have search volume behind it or doesn’t fit your business. If it’s not worth ranking for, it’s not worth either of us spending the time.
Timeline & investment
How it works and what it costs
Copywriting is quoted per page or per project, not as a monthly retainer. Turnaround depends on how many pages you need and how technical the topic is.
How it works
- ✓Brief and keyword research. We confirm what the page needs to rank for and who it’s written for.
- ✓Outline first. You review the structure before we write a full draft, so there’s no surprise on direction.
- ✓Draft. Usually 5-7 business days per page, depending on research depth.
- ✓Your revisions. You tell us what to adjust, we make the changes.
- ✓Publish and optimize. We format it for on-page SEO and track how it performs.
Investment
- ✓$150-250 per page. Longer pieces, deep research, or very technical topics land on the higher end.
- ✓Quoted per project. Not a monthly retainer, you pay for what you order.
- ✓Volume discounts for 10+ pages. Bigger orders bring the per-page price down.
- ✓Keyword research is included. You don't need a separate Ahrefs or Semrush subscription for us to write the page. That’s part of the per-page price.
- ✓Included if you’re on our SEO retainer. Monthly content allocation is part of that plan already.
Is this right for you?
Who our copywriting is (and isn’t) a fit for
We’d rather turn down a bad fit than sell you the wrong thing. Here’s the straight cut.
You’re a fit if
- ✓You need content that ranks but still sounds professional
- ✓You’ve been burned by AI-generated content that reads terrible
- ✓You’re building out service or industry pages and need it done well
- ✓You’re on an SEO retainer with someone else and need extra content firepower
- ✓You have specific technical topics that need real expertise
You probably don’t need this if
- ✗You want 100 pages of generic AI-spun content for cheap, we’re not the right shop for that
- ✗You want us to write like your favorite novelist, we write for search and conversion, not literary awards
- ✗You can’t provide a subject-matter expert to review technical accuracy, we can research, but on niche topics we need your input
If that’s you, we’ll say so on our first call. No hard sell.

FAQs
How much research do you do per page?
Every page starts with keyword and intent research, plus a look at what’s already ranking for that topic. Longer or more technical pieces get more research time, which is part of why they land on the higher end of the $150-250 range.
Do you use AI?
We’re humans writing this. We use AI for research and drafting help sometimes, but a real writer edits everything before it goes to you. You’re not getting an unedited AI dump with your name on it.
What if I want changes to the draft?
Revisions are part of the process. You’ll see the outline before we draft, then the draft itself, and you tell us what to adjust. We’d rather get it right than rush it out.
Can I hire you to write ongoing content?
Yes, either as a standing volume order with a discount, or bundled into an SEO retainer, which already includes a monthly content allocation.
What if we don’t like what you write?
Tell us specifically what’s off and we’ll revise it. Reviewing the outline before we draft is meant to catch direction problems early, so this doesn’t happen often, but we’ll fix it if it does.
